Default Is there a point to pve after getting the atribute points?

Besides if you like pve that is? I just finished the hero's challenge quest for the last 15 attribute points and was wondering if there was a point to continuing on with the missions.

Huh? Have you done all of the Southern Shiverpeak missions? Ring of Fire? Underworld? Fissure of Woe? Tombs? Titan Quests?

Elite skills.

its not like you will use that character in pvp anyways...youll make a pvp character and have the best of everything...so just delete it if you dont think anything better can come of finishing the game.

A free skill point for each completed mission is as good a reason as any to me.

PvE isn't even over after you complete all the QUESTS.. go and play the remaining quests, maybe after you completed them all, you can come back and ask if PvE is over or not =)

My question is do I get anything out of doing those? Because I hate the pve in this game with a passion.

Well you can...but I hope you love pve...But you just said you hate it.

You would have to grind for the max items/runes etc...its easier to make the pvp character. (unless you want the advantages or multiple armor etc...)

I would rather not grind to get stuff...but thats just me.

Have at it. I suggest spending your skill points...capping skills...and either leaving the character for factions, leave it, or delete it.

Elite skills/rare items

I was lead to believe its faster to pve for elites/wep mods/runes etc then pvp. Guess thats not true?

if you hate it you are nuts for doing it.

pass pve and go straight to your beloved pvp.

earn faction doing your beloved pvp to earn all of your unlocks.

when you have everything unlocked you can pvp your beloved pvping brains out without touching that icchy pve you hate so much.

go straight to the arena of your choice and leave the pve behind for all of out sakes

i have over 1000 hours and have not had a superior vigor/superior absorption/ or +30 perfect mod drop/salvage.

now maybe your luck will be better but does that seem faster than a targeted faction unlock?

You will unlock skills faster with factions if you are a good PvP player in Random/Team arenas.

But watchout for Griefers and quitters.. they ruin the arenas.

It is a lot better to get skills and elites...10-20 hours will get you a ton of skill points, a ton of skills, and prolly an elite or 2. Once you get those...its a lot easier to start pvp.
edit: plus you will get a bunch of the min mods...making the max mods easier to get with faction...and no RA is not the best way to get faction. If you have a guild try GVG or pick a build and unlock the skills and play HA.

Some quests give skill reward...Ignore most of the people in this thread.....

Mandy, the OP's direct intention in his 1st post did not clarify his intention of why he was playing PvE (later we found out, he wanted to PvE just to unlock skills in use for PvP). So it sounded much like he/she was dissing PvE just because the attribute quest was done.

Btw, to OP, my post about unlocking factions only applies if you have a PvP character, else it's pointless to unlock the factions skills (since it's only available for PvP chars).

It was just a mis-understanding, but I do hope people can clarify their intentions so other people won't speculate or assume things.
